We all desire to have a ‘whole’ life; yet the balancing act of Work-Life balance is still a struggle for many of us. Stress seems to be an integral part of life and this can quickly degenerate to DISTRESS and ANXIETY, which can affect our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
In Australia, 1 in 5 men and 1 in 3 women will experience anxiety and around 3 million will face depression at some stage in their lives (BeyondBlue.org)
The verse below reiterates not only God’s love for us; but His interest in our ‘Whole and Lasting’ life.
This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son so that no one needs be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life – John 3:16 MSG
You might question God’s interest in your wellness? Why should he care?
You might not know Him or even believe in Him?
However, embedded in the intricate design of humans is an unquenchable quest to know and understand; and while science attempts to offer explanations; there are occurrences that have defied Science and Logic
Have you ever considered there is no one like you in all the earth? Your fingerprint, appearance, habits, traits, personality and gift are uniquely distinguished and different from everyone and so is your purpose.
An average of eight Australians commit suicide daily because they can’t see another pathway?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 KJV
Every trait and talents we possess is intentional to fulfilling our purpose and part of a grand design.
He pays even greater attention to you, down to the last detail—even numbering the hairs on your head! Matt 10:30 MSG
His love and care over you is intentional, irrespective of where you are; God’s love is small enough to calm your deeps fears and big enough to face every uncertainty; but we have to be bold enough to ask for help – and this is three fold
1. Ask the Lord as your personal Saviour – Let his peace fill your heart
Are you ready to take the next bold step in your life?
If you’ve answered yes, then please say this short lines of prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, please come into my life. Please wash away my sins by your blood which was shed on the cross of Calvary. I wholeheartedly accept you as my Lord and Saviour from now until eternity. So help me God. Amen!
2. Speak to trusted people about it – God’s people will provide support and follow-up to help you get better
3. Seek professional help – You might need to seek professional help but you will never be alone.
He cares for you.
