KNOW WHICH WAY
Directions are so important in life and can ultimately make or mar a person. That is, taking one wrong turn in life could prolong our ability to reach our goals in life, if at all. In the same vein, getting the direction right can help speed up the realisation of our dreams and aspirations.
Consequently, we can’t leave the matter of direction to chance because doing so could have devastating consequences. No wonder the Bible admonishes us to understand the will of God concerning life in the quest to work out which direction to go (Ephesians 5:17).
God has always promised mankind of His ever abiding presence and that includes His ability to guide our directions through life (Psalms 32:8). It is therefore imperative to leverage divine direction in every sphere of life.
IN EVERY SPHERE …
One of the beautiful things about divine direction is that it is applicable to every aspect of our lives including (for example):
- Finding the right partner in marriage. Abraham’s servant deployed God’s direction to this effect (Genesis 24:12-14)
- Understanding what cause(s) to pursue in life. David inquired of the Lord before embarking on the quest to recover his family and belongings (1 Samuel 30:8).
- Understanding what business ideas to invest your time and resources. Jacob received God’s direction thus leading to one of the greatest business breakthroughs ever recorded (Genesis 31:10).
Beloved, there are endless possibilities to what divine direction can accomplish in the life of a believer.
ENJOY TOTAL VICTORY
A life of victory is guaranteed by walking in divine direction. But doing so often necessitates the fulfilment of certain conditions. This is because the secret things of God belong to His children alone (Deuteronomy 29:29). The conditions below are necessary to walk in total victory through divine direction:
- We must separate ourselves unto God (Isaiah 59:1-2).
- We must learn to put our trust in God (Proverbs 3:5-6).
- We must be willing to obey His instructions to the letter (Isaiah 1:19).
Beloved, there are countless stories of regrets in the world today arising from failure to walk in divine direction. It is God’s desire that we walk circumspectly, understanding His perfect will for our lives. Don’t be a casualty!
