THOUGH IT TARRIES

THE POWER OF VISION

Being visionary is one of God’s numerous attributes. Pretty much everything we see around us was conceived by God through his supernatural visionary powers. For example, in the beginning, God conceived the creation of man when he envisioned thus “Let us make man in our image …” (Genesis 1:26).

Ever since the creation of man, his visionary powers have given birth to numerous advances in practically every sphere of life. No wonder the average man is so busy in today’s world conceiving new ideas aimed at helping him get along in life.

Therefore, having a vision is so important in order to help us live life to the fullest. In fact, God so encourages us to be visionary in our daily pursuit as failure to do so is akin to death (Proverbs 29:18).

NEVER WITHOUT TRIALS

Naturally, when our visions do come to fruition, they tend to yield great outcomes and feelings of elation. No wonder they’re constantly under threat to test our resolve to see them through.

So, while it is so important to be visionary, it is equally essential to learn to develop the tenacity required to see our visions to fruition. As the saying goes, “nothing good comes easy”.

God is so mindful of this fact that He encourages us on the need to wait patiently for our visions to come to life (Habakkuk 2:3).
Has God given you a vision, but it appears to be taking too long to materialize? Not to worry, as we look at a few things to do while you wait.

WHILE THE VISION TARRIES

Waiting patiently for your vision to come to fruition can sometimes prove challenging. Nevertheless, below are a few nuggets to help you scale through the difficult times while your vision tarries.

  • Believe in the vision and don’t entertain any doubts.
  • Re-affirm your vision with God through prayers.
  • Imagine your vision come alive and give thanks to God in faith.
  • Do not be discouraged. Keep pushing until it happens.

May your vision come alive today in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
