Our Story

How It All Began

In 2017, Pastor Kolawole Aremu and Pastor (Mrs.) Adeola Aremu were both commissioned as founding Pastors of the parish while being assisted by Pastor David Ndukwu and his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Mary Ndukwu. Following 2 years of service in the Parish, the Lord transitioned Pastor Aremu and his family to New Zealand and since then, Pastor David Ndukwu and his wife have led the Parish.

To God be the glory, what started as 12 people meeting in a rented council facility in Camden NSW has now grown into a vibrant, multicultural family of over 50 worshippers, united by faith, rooted in Scripture, and compelled by love for God and neighbour.

"We didn't come to build a big church. We came to make disciples who would make disciples — and God has been faithful beyond anything we imagined."

— Pastor David Ndukwu

Today RCCG Amazing Grace Parish serves the Sydney community through weekly services, community outreach, youth programmes, and missions partnerships across Africa and beyond.

Why We Exist

Mission & Core Values

Our mission is simple: To serve as ambassadors of God on earth through demonstrating the character of Jesus Christ to all. These values guide everything we do.

01

Worship First

Everything we do flows from a posture of worship — encountering God in Spirit and in truth is the foundation of our communal life.

02

Word-Centred

The Bible is our authority. We preach, teach, and apply Scripture as the living Word of God — never bending it to fit culture, but letting it shape us.

03

Discipleship Intentional

We are committed to growing followers of Jesus — not just attendees. Small groups, mentoring, and classes are core to how we do church.

04

Community Engaged

We love Sydney. From food banks to youth programmes, we serve our neighbours because we believe the Gospel is shown as much as it is spoken.

What We Believe

Our Statement of Faith

We hold to the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles' Creed and the core convictions of evangelical Christianity.

📖

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God — our supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

✝️

The Trinity

We believe in one God eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — distinct in person, equal in essence.

🌟

Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is a free gift received through faith in Jesus Christ — his death, burial, and resurrection — and not by works.

🔥

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, equipping them for godly living and empowering them for Spirit-filled service.
