He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. — Philippians 1:6
Change is one of the most unsettling forces in human experience. Whether it is a new job, a move, a loss, or simply the quiet erosion of a season you thought would last — change has a way of making us feel exposed. I want to speak to you today not with easy answers, but with a steady reminder: God is not surprised by what you are walking through. He was there before it began, and He will be there when it ends.
A tree does not panic in the wind because it has spent years pushing roots deeper than the eye can see. Faith works the same way. The seasons when nothing seems to be happening above the surface are often the seasons God is doing the most below it. He is anchoring you. He is deepening you. The question is not whether you will face storms — you will. The question is how deep your roots go before they arrive.
Do not mistake God's silence for His absence. Do not mistake a closed door for a dead end. This month, I am asking every member of our church family to return to the Word — not for answers, but for company. Let scripture be the soil you press your roots into. Psalm 1 tells us that the person who meditates on God's word is "like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season." Your season is coming. Stay planted.
May the God of all seasons hold you steady in this one. You are not forgotten. You are not finished. He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion.
